The Best Bulalo in Town

IMG_6199
Rose & Grace Restaurant is a popular restaurant not only for the locals of Sta Rosa but even for passers by through the Tagaytay area.

Bulalo is a Filipino stew made from beef shanks and marrow bones which  originated and is a specialty of the cattle-raising province of Batangas. The hotter the soup it is, the better the taste would be. Though it is not considered as a healthy food where it is in fact high in cholesterol, the taste will always be number one for the Filipino love for soup.

Rose & Grace

It is an ordinary rainy Saturday and my family of four  and I decided  to eat out and everyone was craving for something hot and delicious to complement the weather. And here we come at the nearest place where our mind and stomach meets. We arrive around 12:30 pm and the place is so crowded but you don’t need to worry for tables and chairs because it is spacious. Diners comes from all walks of life, barkada’s, families, office workers even tourists.

I ordered for Ampalaya with egg less the bitterness for P100.00 only.

Guinataang Hipon, the sweetness of gata blends with the blandness of hipon with lots of vegetables.

I also tried their Pansit that is like the Pansit Malabon only you’re not in Malabon but in Sta Rosa Laguna.

Let me compare their Sago’t Gulaman with other fast foods Gulaman, it’s not too sweet,it tasted just right.

And the infamous Bulalo for only P400.00, this is really so delicious you could eat to your hearts content. The beef is so tender and the soup is so appetizing. I can say this is the best Bulalo I’ve ever tasted with the perfect blend of saltiness that is rightful to my taste where it complements the natural flavor of beef. Though they offer unlimited serving of Bulalo soup I still even asked the waiter to please add a soup for our take out Bulalo Winking smile

I will come back to have a try of their Lechon Kawali and Chicharon with Laman since this looks yummy too.

Rose & Grace is not only a multi awarded restaurant, it has also won my tastes for a special Bulalo. Whether it is raining or not you would wanted to visit this famous restaurant over and over again and try their lined up of dishes in a canteen like settings and an excellent service.
